Ikotun is an area of Lagos, it is also the largest city in Nigeria. It has so many big markets and a commercial stronghold in the country. Ikotun is known for its big market which has more than 10,000 individual traders selling products ranging from clothes, foodstuffs, wear and so much, it is the best place to get all essential needs.  Ikotun is under the Alimosho Local Government Area. It is the largest local government in Lagos, with 1,288,714 inhabitants, according to the official 2006 Census.
